Today saw the launch of Africaid′s exciting new partnership with Solar World. Africaid successfully applied for the provision of three Solar World Systems; complete with DSTV, DVD player and a Sony TV, completely powered by solar energy.

Africaid’s WhizzKids United are delighted to announce a new partnership with Oxfam Australia. The partnership has been facilitated as part of the Joint Oxfam HIV and AIDS Program (JOHAP).

A newly released UNAIDS study predicts that nearly 90 million new HIV infections could occur in Africa in the next 20 years, and recommended that an additional $200 billion US be committed to stop the spread of the disease.
