WhizzKids United is currently taking part in the Streetfootballworld EURO 2012 Fundraising Challenge

Streetfootballworld has recently launched a new donation platform - justUNITED.com. This site allows users to donate directly to projects and organisations which use the beautiful game to provide disadvantaged young people with opportunities to create a better future.

WhizzKids United is using the competition to raise money and awareness for our Mixed Gender League. The WKU Mixed Gender League is a very important programme as it teaches Life Skills and HIV prevention while reinforcing the spirit of teamwork, fair play and above all gender equality and mutual respect between boys and girls. In addition to this, we strive to develop young football players of both genders to become role models and ambassadors in their families, schools and communities. Encouraging youth to go to the WhizzKids United Health Academy (WKUHA) for health and counselling services, these peer educators will strengthen the link between the WKUHA and Edendale communities.

There are two ways in which you can help us. You can donate to WKU on our Fundraising Challenge profile page before the end of EURO 2012 (1 July 2012). The organisation that receives the most donations will win a €3,000 top-up donation. You can also visit the WhizzKids United profile page and 'Recommend' us as part of the competition for the most links to facebook. (Please note that you must recommend us though the UNITED website.)

We hope to secure the most donations and recommendations and win the bonuses. We cannot do this without you!

Thank you for your generous support of WhizzKids United!
